Everest Base Camp Trek Permits Update 2024
Khumbu Pasang Lahmu Rural Municipality has implemented new entry fees for tourists visiting the region, including those embarking on the iconic Everest Base Camp Trek.
Here's a breakdown of the new fees for Khumbu Pasang Lahmu Rural Municipality:
- SARRC and Chinese Nationals: NPR 2,000 (Nepalese Rupees)
- All Other Nationalities: NPR 3,000
These fees apply in addition to the existing Sagarmatha National Park entrance fees, which remain unchanged:
- Foreign Travelers: NPR 3,000
- SAARC Nationals: NPR 1,500
- Nepali Citizens: NPR 100
Note: Children under 10 years old are exempt from the Khumbu Pasang Lahmu entry fees.
