Among the best trekking routes in the Annapurna region of Pokhara is the Khopra Ridge Trek. This trek is shorter than the Annapurna Region Trek, but it still covers some of the best viewpoints and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. The trek begins in Pokhara, a beautiful city located in the western part of Nepal. From Pokhara, we will hike to Tadapani, Dobato, Khopra Danda, and the last point, Ghorepani Poon Hill. Another trekking route to Khopra Danda is from the Tatopani hot spring resort, located at an altitude of 1,100 meters. From Tatopani, hikers hike to Khopra Danda, a mountain pass located at an altitude of 2,800 meters. Khopra Danda offers stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Range, including Annapurna I, Annapurna II, and Annapurna III.
The Short Khopra (Danda) Ridge Ghorepani Trek is a moderate and rewarding trek. It can be challenging for beginners if we cover the Khopra Danda Khayer Lake, but to make the journey easier for everyone, we have not covered the Khayer Lake on this trek itinerary. The trail is well-maintained, but it can be steep in some places. On this trek, we don't need to worry about the high altitude, so everyone can trek and doesn't need previous hiking or trekking experience. However, it is important to be physically fit to walk in the Nepali landscapes.
The Khopra Ridge Trek is a great way to experience the beauty of Nepal's mountains. This trek offers stunning views of the Himalayas along the way. The best thing about this trek plan is that we will spend our nights at the best vintages, such as Tadapani, Dobato (Mulde), Khopra Danda itself, and Ghorepani-Poon Hill.
